Exhibition Quality Edwardian period Mahogany inlaid cabinet on stand by Edwards & Roberts (stamped) of London. The upper section has a broken swan neck pediment with marquetry inlaid detail which is repeated in the fiddleback mahogany frieze. The twin glazed doors open to reveal a silk lined interior with mahogany shelves. The lower section with single drawer is constructed using the finest fiddleback mahogany and of serpentine outline with fine marquetry.The piece is all supported on square tapering supports united by a shaped under-tier. Stamped to the drawer by the maker Edwards & Roberts, England, circa 1900. This is a superb piece with a deep rich Patina and in great condition.
